Tesla to Open New Experience Centre in Delhi’s Aerocity

Tesla is expanding its presence in India with a new experience centre set to open in Delhi’s Aerocity on Monday, August 11, at 2 pm. This will be the company’s second centre in the country after the one in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

The US-based electric car maker entered the Indian market on July 15 with the launch of its midsize electric SUV, the Tesla Model Y. Priced from around ₹60 lakh, the Model Y is currently the only Tesla model available in India and comes in two versions – a Rear-Wheel Drive variant priced at ₹60 lakh and a Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant with a higher price and extended range. Customers can also opt for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving package at an additional cost.

The Long Range variant offers up to 622 kilometres of driving range, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and supports supercharging that can add up to 267 kilometres of range in just 15 minutes. It features eight exterior cameras, including a new front-facing one, to support its advanced driver-assistance system.

The Model Y is available in six colours, with Stealth Grey offered at no extra charge. Other colours, including Pearl White Multi-Coat, Diamond Black, Ultra Red, Quicksilver, and Glacier Blue, come with an additional cost. Interior options are available in either white or black themes.

Deliveries and registrations are currently open only in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, with prices varying depending on state taxes. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025. The upcoming Delhi Aerocity centre will cover 8,200 square feet, with a monthly rent of ₹7.22 lakh.
