Meet Dr. Chakshu Bansal: Founder of Physioneeds Academy, Arunalaya Healthcare, and Pinakin Tools — Together, Million-Dollar Physiotherapy Brands

From pioneering education systems to building thriving healthcare ventures, she is transforming physiotherapy into a global industry.
Founder of Physioneeds Academy (India & UK), Arunalaya Healthcare (India), and Pinakin Tools, Dr. Chakshu Bansal has crafted a multi-brand ecosystem that seamlessly blends advanced physiotherapy education, evidence-based clinical services, and medical innovation tools — with a combined valuation crossing the million-dollar mark.
Here is the interview we had with her.

TimesHunt: Dr. Chakshu, you began as a clinician. How did you evolve into a business leader?

Dr. Chakshu: It was organic. I saw inefficiencies — in how physiotherapy was taught, practiced, and perceived. Instead of waiting for solutions, I built them. Over time, Physioneeds Academy became a global training powerhouse, Arunalaya Healthcare became a benchmark in elite sports rehabilitation, and Pinakin Tools emerged as an innovation hub for manual therapy equipment. These aren’t just companies — they’re pillars of a new ecosystem.

TimesHunt: What makes your brands stand out in a crowded healthcare landscape?

Dr. Chakshu: Our focus on science-backed outcomes, intellectual property, and global scalability. We don’t just treat; we deliver standardized, replicable, measurable rehabilitation protocols. We don’t just teach; we equip physiotherapists to become innovators and business leaders themselves. That’s why our academy has trained 50,000+ physiotherapists across 125+ countries, and our rehab centers consistently serve elite athletes, national teams, and corporate clients.

TimesHunt: Your academy operates in both India and the UK. How do you approach global training?

Dr. Chakshu: I approach training like product development. It must be research-driven, outcome-focused, and globally adaptable. Our curriculum blends clinical excellence with business acumen, preparing physiotherapists not only to treat patients but to build sustainable practices, startups, and sports science departments worldwide.

TimesHunt: You’ve worked with elite athletes, national teams, and major celebrities. How has this shaped your perspective?

Dr. Chakshu: It taught me that precision is non-negotiable. I’ve been lead physiotherapist for the Pro International Basketball League (InBL Pro) and Ulhas YuviPep Basketball Academy (UYBA), and I consult for top cricket academies like Rohit Sharma Cricket Academy, Sehwag Cricket Academy, and the Cricket Academy of Pathan Brothers. I’ve mentored physios who work with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Sridevi, and Sonu Sood. When results impact careers and nations, you must build systems — not depend on chance.

TimesHunt: You co-developed KKMT, which is now globally recognized. How does this innovation fit into your business vision?

Dr. Chakshu: KKMT (KinetiKinetic Manual Therapy) is our brainchild — India’s first complete school of manual therapy. It’s adopted into Cameroon’s national physiotherapy curriculum, taught in 110+ countries, and validated through Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs). It showed that India can create world-class scientific IP, and it gave our brands a global edge. KKMT bridges our clinical, educational, and product arms perfectly.

TimesHunt: What’s next for your ventures?

Dr. Chakshu: We’re scaling. Arunalaya will expand into global sports rehab hubs, Physioneeds Academy will license its courses worldwide, and Pinakin Tools is launching new IP-driven manual therapy devices. My vision is to position India as the world leader in physiotherapy education, innovation, and enterprise. We won’t just contribute to the industry — we will lead it.

“We don’t just create physiotherapists — we shape pioneers who redefine healing.”
