The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced a major recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for 124 vacancies across various administrative and academic positions. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. The application window will remain open until December 22, 2025.
The recruitment aims to fill multiple roles, including Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor, Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant. Candidates are advised to review the detailed notification on the CBSE website to understand the specific educational qualifications, age requirements and experience criteria for the positions they wish to apply for. The board has noted that the selection process will differ depending on the post, and applicants must check the guidelines relevant to their chosen role.
CBSE has also released information about examination and processing fees. While candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and all women applicants are exempt from the application fee, they are still required to pay the processing fee. Applicants from the Unreserved, OBC and EWS categories will need to pay the prescribed fee, which varies according to the group of the post. Payments can be made online through debit and credit cards, internet banking and UPI as permitted by the recruitment portal.
