Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has recently leased a lavish apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area to run her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The rental cost for the apartment is a whopping ₹9 lakh per month, with a 5% increase in rent annually. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of the Vastu building in the Pali Hill area. The lease agreement was finalized on February 21, 2025.
This apartment will serve as the base for Alia’s production company, which will focus on films and digital content. The company will be run by a team including her father Mahesh Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt.
Alia has secured the apartment for a period of 48 months, with a security deposit of ₹36 lakh. This is not her first high-end property investment, as she had previously purchased a luxurious apartment in April 2023 for ₹37.80 crore.
Shah Rukh Khan Also Leases Property in the Same Exclusive Area
Interestingly, Alia’s new lease comes in the same area where Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also leased a plush duplex. His apartment, which cost ₹8.67 crore, is located nearby, further cementing Pali Hill as a hotspot for celebrities.
