Aamir Khan Inspired by Mahabharat, Eyes Role of Lord Krishna
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, often referred to as “Mr. Perfectionist,” has revealed his strong desire to make a film based on the Indian epic Mahabharat. In a recent interview, Aamir shared that the project is very close to his heart and has inspired him deeply over the years. If made, he expressed his interest in portraying Lord Krishna on screen.
Mahabharat Is a Dream Project, Says Aamir
Speaking about the ambitious project, Aamir said, “It is a dream project for me. I would love to bring Mahabharat to life on the big screen.” He added that while he would be happy to play any role in the film, the character of Lord Krishna particularly inspires him due to its depth and complexity.
Mahabharat Demands Years of Dedication
Aamir also acknowledged the scale and depth of the Mahabharat, stating that a film of this magnitude would require several years of commitment, research, and preparation. This has been one of the key reasons behind the delay in starting the project.
