The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has unearthed a shocking case involving Pradyuman Dixit, a Joint Director in the Department of Information Technology at RajComp Info Services, who allegedly facilitated fake employment for his wife to receive illegal payments from two private firms.
According to the ACB’s findings, Dixit’s wife, Poonam Dixit, was falsely shown as an employee at OrionPro Solutions and Treegen Software Limited—both companies that had secured government tenders from the IT department. Between January 2019 and September 2020, the two firms transferred ₹37.54 lakh into her five personal bank accounts under the guise of salary payments.
Investigators discovered that Poonam never attended work or visited the offices of either company during this period. The probe also found that Pradyuman Dixit personally approved his wife’s fake attendance reports while she continued receiving simultaneous payments from both firms.
The matter surfaced after a complainant filed a petition before the Rajasthan High Court, which directed the ACB on September 6 last year to conduct an inquiry. Acting on the court’s order, the ACB initiated a preliminary investigation on July 3, 2025, uncovering evidence of corruption and misuse of position.
According to the probe, the officer allegedly instructed both companies to hire his wife and pay her monthly salaries in exchange for approving their government tenders. During the same period, OrionPro Solutions and Treegen Software Limited were awarded multiple government projects.
Sources said the ACB is now verifying the trail of payments and examining whether other officials were complicit in the fraudulent tender approvals.
Officials have confirmed that further legal action will be taken under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and both Pradyuman and Poonam Dixit are likely to face questioning in the coming days.
The case highlights growing concerns over corruption in government-linked IT contracts and the need for stricter scrutiny of private vendors handling public projects.
